These water supplies create resiliency for economic prosperity in Roseville and an adequate, affordable, and safe water supply for Placer County communities with aging water systems that can benefit from connection to PCWA’s state-of-the-art water infrastructure.

Roseville and PCWA have been working together for over ten years to make sure there is always water when we turn on the tap. This new agreement is an important step in meeting the increasing need for water and taking care of our important water resources in our area, as well as in the region and the whole state.

From the PCWA perspective, we are excited about the partnership and working with Roseville helps us make sure we have enough water and can meet the city’s needs.

The new contract makes it easier to deliver water between PCWA and Roseville, which makes things more efficient and improves our water system. This teamwork makes us more secure, especially during dry times when there isn’t much rain.

From a Roseville perspective, this change in our water contract is a big step toward making sure we always have enough water. With our partnership with PCWA and our agreement with the US Bureau of Reclamation for federally supplied drinking water, we can make sure our residents and businesses have the water they need.

In addition to delivering water, Roseville and PCWA will work together on other projects to manage water better. Staff will come up with new ideas and work together to make sure everyone has clean and safe water.
