Congratulations Fritz! Your selection as the 2026 Will S. Green Award recipient made me want to express that all of your dedication to improvement, persistence with policy and your love of the land and the resources in the Sacramento Valley are duly recognized and should be celebrated. You have so aptly received the baton of ag, water and resource leadership as you not only took on the demands of farming but also became immersed in the advocacy for agriculture and resources as you faced so many challenges, such as Sites Reservoir and fishery viability. The best to you as you continue tackling the pressures and tests inherited from multi-generations of problem-solving farmers and leaders.
