A recently-developed poster contains descriptions of the twelve projects included in the Sacramento Valley Salmon Recovery Program (SVSRP) that have been completed in the two years since the program was initiated.
These completed projects represent over twenty percent of the priority actions that have been identified by the SVSRP to promote fish passage and promote habitat for salmon and other species. The SVSRP is a collaborative effort of water management entities, conservation organizations and state and federal fishery and water management agencies to promote salmonid recovery in the Sacramento Valley and supports priorities identified in the National Marine Fisheries Service’s Recovery Plan for the Sacramento Valley and Governor Brown’s California Water Action Plan.
