This past weekend at the International Sportsmen’s Expo in Sacramento, Ducks Unlimited Chairman and Sacramento Valley landowner and conservationist Paul Bonderson was inducted into the California Outdoors Hall of Fame. During the award presentation, DU’s Western Region Director of Operations Mark Biddlecomb described Bonderson’s level of commitment to developing wetland habitat and why he is so deserving of the recognition by stating, “He truly believes in conservation and putting his resources to work for the landscape and waterfowl. He does an incredible job of not only donating but actually getting out and doing the work himself. He will get on a tractor at his ranch and manage his own wetlands, he loves it that much.”
The following Ducks Unlimited blog further describes the award presentation: Ducks Unlimited West.
Ducks Unlimited, NCWA and our other partners continue to work on projects and programs to promote Pacific Flyway habitat in the Sacramento Valley, as outlined in the recently updated infographic below.
